The eyes betray our age: sagging eyebrows, hanging upper eyelids, tear sacs piling up on the lower rim of the eye, and eyes sunken into their sockets. At the same time, tissue loss in the midface area flattens the facial expression. All these age-related changes can be corrected with a so-called “multiplanar eyelid operation”. The intervention is more comprehensive than the name suggests. The outcome is a rejuvenated face.
